I have Aetna also, and my BMI is 40.3, and I am soooo scared they are going to deny me, I think at the end of July I will be getting my answer...but I hear if you complain and fight back they will approve sometimes. Again Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!! Do you have a surgery date?

jaredsdad 0 Posted June 6, 2009 Mahaganie, do you mind telling me what you said to them? I am going to be in the same boat...I have Aetna POS II, and I have a weight from 11/06, and 2/09...but nothing for the years of 07 and 08. I didn't go to ANY doctor for those two years. I can provide weights for 2002,03,04,05... My surgeon said they will send pics of me. If anyone with a brain looks at my information, they will know I qualify. I am 5'11", and my lowest weight in the last 20 years is 220 pounds....THAT WAS WHEN I WAS 11 years old!!! Let me know what you said that got them moving!
