Sooverit! 1 Posted June 5, 2009 I had a Calcium chocolate chew (which were fine uptil now) then started slowing eating salmon. The Salmon got stuck immediately. It's now the next morning and I can't drink anything....could I still be stuck?.... or have i slipped the band? Way to early to call doc but I'm not a happy camper ...bad heartburn too. Anything I need to addresss immediately?
Jodi_620 37 Posted June 5, 2009 If you can't even swallow Water then you should call your doctor soon...you can quickly become dehydrated. I wouldn't worry too much but it does need to be addressed. I am often tight in the morning and after being stuck last night you may just need to give it a couple more hours but don't wait too long.

Sue Magoo 71 Posted June 5, 2009 Hi: I'm glad you're feeling better. I've heard that if you do get stuck it's best to go to fluids for the next 24 hours, then mushies for 24 hours, then regular fluids. I think that they recommend this because you can be swollen after having been stuck. I love my band! Sue

The Violet Rose 0 Posted June 15, 2009 Hi Sooverit, I found those Calcium chew tended to lower the acidity of my stomach and made it difficult for me to digest especially difficult things like Protein. Try not to eat them near a meal if you can avoid it.
