Dr. Wade Naziri - Great Guy

Recommended Posts

I had Dr. Naziri do my gallbladder surgery in Jan. 2008. He has excellent bedside manners and is very kind and compassionate. I chose this Dr. to perform my lap band surgery! I would recommend him to anyone in Greenville considering the lap band.

I knew I needed my gall bladder out when everything I ate gave me a pressure kind of feeling in my chest. It was in my lower chest though. Between my boobs in between my ribs. The pain was horrible!!! Towards the end I could not even eat a simple cracker without being in pain. After my gall bladder was out, the Doc told me it was FULL of stones. I am so glad I do not feel that pain anymore.

Good luck with your surgery tomorrow! I had mine in September, 2008 and it was the best thing I ever did. I came across your post because I just had my gall bladder out last week and I'm thinking how much more painful the gall bladder was compared to the lap band! Do you happen to recall how soon you felt like yourself after the gall bladder removal? Again, good luck tomorrow!

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
