Jay Robb Protein Drinks?? Anyone tried??

Recommended Posts

hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone out there has tried the Jay Robb whey Protein Drinks and what they think. They have 25g of Protein, 0 fat, 0 sugar, 0 carbs, 110 calories. They come in chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, pina colada and tropical dreamsicle. Has anyone tried them or heard of them. I purchased some on his website jayrobb.com and they are DELICIOUS!!!!! It just seems like they are too good to be true and wanted to know if anyone else has heard of them/used them. Thanks so much!!!

Hi there,

I tried the chocolate flavor when I ran out of my normal one. It took a little while to get used to the flavor but it wasn't bad. They sell his products at Kroger (my local grocery store). For the price its wasnt bad

yeah I love his stuff. my favorite mix is the vanilla (with skim milk) with some SF chocolate fudge pudding mix and if I'm feeling naughty half a banana.... chocolate banana milkshakes were always my downfall. i got a single serving of the strawberry on his website and it wasn't strawberry-y enough for me. The dreamsicle one was OK but I'd be hardpressed to find something to mix it with and that's the best part. I'm going to try the vanilla with the pudding mix and some powdered PB, yum!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
