*My* *New* *Bike*, I think I'm in LOVE

Recommended Posts

OK here is my new baby:

This pic isin't MY bike, but its pretty much the same thing, I haven't taken pics of mine yet (cuz I lost my camera). I bought it a few months ago after selling my Yamaha R6 and I counden't be happier!

It's a 2003 Kawasaki Z1000, a naked streetfighter.

In-line four cylinder engine, Liquid-Cooled, fuel-injected, 130 hp to the rear wheel, 170mph top speed.

My bike has a wrapped shorty exhaust under the bike, no windsheild, no rear views, black high gloss rims, and everything else is blacked-out with black powder coat.

Iv'e had it 2 1/2 months and Ive put 6,000 miles on it already. I'm learning to stunt on it too because I just feel so comfortable on it.

So... what do ya'll think?????

Nice! I'm thinking you have to have rear view mirrors to get it registered and inspected in Texas. Be careful, you don't want to get to looking good just in time to crash and burn, ok?

I know but I just can't stand the way rear views, blinkers, and liscense plates look! lol Its so streamlined and pretty now...

Hopefully I won't crash and burn anytime soon. That reminds me thou, everyone be very careful on your bikes this season! Bikers have been dying left and right in the last few weeks, at least in my town. Don't be a "squid", wear your gear!!!

Nice! I have a Rebel. Just learning to ride. Took my first ride out of the area last night. Loved it! What a rush! Congrats on the new ride!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
