surgery tomorrow May 29th!!!

Well the count down is on. I have been doing so well the last couple weeks with staying focused and not trying to worry about the surgery...but today, knowing that tomorrow I have surgery im getting butterflies in my stomach. Im affair by the time I get off the plane tomorrow I will be a nervous wreck! I cant wait to start a new healthy life but I hate the thought of surgery (I have had plenty of surgeries and always feel this way before hand). I have been following all the threads on the mayo banditos and it does give me alot of encouragement knowing how strong you all have been...and the strength you lend to one another! I know things will go fine just getting the pre op nervousness!:thumbup:

Don't be nervous...You'll do fine. Just think about the post op journey that's ahead and all the good times you'll have.

I was scared too because I had never had surgery or anaesthesia! Now I cant believe I didnt do it sooner. Best decision ever! Worth every penny of the self pay and now I'm SURE I can do this! Good luck, we will all be thinking of you!

Good luck tomorrow! I had never had surgery before either, just 3 babies. I am a big wuss too! I think the plane ride would be the scariest for me!
