I think its pretty much genetically determinend where you store weight. If you have a rounded behind, you probably always will.

On the other hand, I have a typical caucasion wide flat butt, which got even flatter. It just kind of dropped to the back of my knees.

I just wish I had some different blood than bog standard irish somewhere in my history - a bit of Thai or mediterranean blood perhaps?. I'd like a better butt and I'd really rather fancy being darker skinned with brown eyes, than white, freckly and green eyed.

Genetics will determine what your Buns will look like but exercise helps. Certain types of exercise can help minimize how much your butt will fall (if it falls at all).

With that said, my booty has gotten so much better looking! Its fuller, sexier, and higher than ever. Its a firm fatty LOL! Loves it!

I've lost substantial amounts of weight in the past, and My ass has always remained constant. it shrinks a little, but it's still there.and my boobs as well.. I've been a C cup since I was 11, and they just sag more lol.... hense the reason man created tummy tucks & boob lifts!

I had a HUGE booty before surgery and it has gone down A LOT but it's now looking like a nice butt instead of a HUGE fat one! I do go to the gym 5 days a week to make sure that I'm keeping toned so it doesn't go all saggy, so I'm not sure if that's helping or what!

I love this post. I was a skinny girl (100 lbs) my whole life until I had kids and gained 75 pounds five years ago. I never had an ass until I gained weight and I told my husband if I lose my butt I am getting butt implants (hell Ive already gotten the boob implants and I love em). I just couldnt imagine myself without a booty again! I would miss it so much! As much as I hate being so overweight, Ive really grown attached to some of my curves.

LOL......well, I was looking at mine in the mirror last night after my shower and it looks like a deflated balloon......so sad!!!

Gonna have to look into PS seriously.....

And I have only had to lose about 75 pounds (funny to hear myslef say "only" 75)........and have only been heavy the last 10 yrs of my life, so I kinda expected less sagginess, but I am 52 so.......

oh well...........the spanxx are extremely helpful. Between spanxx and Victoria's secret, no one knows it xcept me and the hubby........my arms looks decent, my face has no saggy chin skin, so its all "underneath" LOL

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
