Kimber-lilly 2 Posted September 13, 2005 Wow, you guys, I am just overwhelmed by all the responses. I just thought I would check in tonight--I took my parents to the cemetary today and made other arrangements and stuff I had to do. Made and received a gazillion phone calls--sooo nice to hear how many people loved my brother. He had lots of very devoted friends. Most are coming from all corners of the earth--one from Australia, one from Hong Kong and both coasts of the US. Mark lived in San Fran before moving to NYC. He was a semi pro wakeboarder, a dedicated and successful employee of BMW of Manhattan and made the world's best fajitas. His girlfriend is inconsolable and will arrive here on Wednesday pm with his ashes. I still can't believe it's happening. My parents are holding up as can be expected and their generation of friends have truly risen to the occaision and are a visible and active network of support. They have been invaluable to me--telling me what to do, etc. so things are done properly. I am warmed by my family and extended family and friend's many kindnesses and I feel very lucky to be a part of this great LBT community. Many thanks to you all.
