Not sure where you live; however, here is a link to WalGreens - they carry them -

High Protein Shakes | Slim-Fast | Walgreens

Also googled "slim fast high Protein shakes" -- here are all the results ...

"slim fast hight protein shakes" - Google Search=

Good luck on your surgery ... I am having sleeve surgery on June 12th!

You can buy the SlimFast Low Carb....5 more grams of Protein and 25 grams less carbs than the High Protein version, same calories. I know, go figure?!?!? I can buy either one at Target, Walgreens and Kroger. Haven't looked anywhere else because I can always find it. However, I did look on Amazon to see if they offered a better price. You can buy a case on Amazon for the same price as buying the 4 packs at the store and they offer fast shipping.

Walmart carries them here, but I like the EAS Edge or EAS Lite, 17/20 grams of Protein. The EAS Edge is only 110 cals but I do have a Slim-Fast (coffee flavored one) every once in a while. Over a two-week period you have to change them up a bit. i also can do FF yogurt. So I get a Greek yogurt called Chobani (but there are several out there), that's almost as many grams of Protein.< /p>

Good luck

I've been drinking the EAS Edge and Lite. Today made one from a suggestion from another web site.

1/2 cup FF milk (I always use Organic Milk)

1/2 cup FF cottage cheese (could also use Greek Yogurt)

2 packets of Splenda

fruit of choice (I used 2 frozen strawberries)

Ice (optional)

Blend

Mine came up to 170 calories 22 grams of Protein. The cottage cheese sounds like it wouldn't be good but you can't really taste it, plus it's high in Protein.< /p>

Doesn't make as big of a drink as the EAS, but was just like a strawberry smoothie. But blueberries might be good also...great for antioxidants.

Just a suggestion. After a week of this, looking for variety. LOL

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
