Hit loss of 40 lbs today - Woo hoo!!!

Hi all - I've been struggling with my weight forever, and today I hit 40lbs loss... wow! That's so great for me!! I've never been able to do it before - and it's happened over the course of about 6 months - about 16 lbs before surgery and 24 lbs since surgery!! Slow and steady - and I'm so thrilled. I'm off to go shopping to buy some new skinny jeans!!

Good luck to all of you. I'm still on the journey - but it's happening.

congratulations!!!!! Reading this just made my day, I'm about 4 months out and have lost 33 lbs and like you it's slow and steady but it's coming off and not coming back on, good luck on you journey!!!!!:thumbup::thumbup::mad:

CONGRATS! I hit 40 today too. Don't get me wrong I am excited to hit the 40 lb mark but I am really looking forward to 199 which is now only two pounds away!

Congrats to everyone! I weighed myself this morning and I was 303 lbs. I am 4 pounds away from 299. Yay for me. It will be 2 years since I have been in the 290s.:wink2:

I just hit 28lbs gone and I was banded Jan 16, 2009. Slow, but not so steady...lol. Nonetheless, its still coming off and staying off!
