I had a gain this week, but I kind of expected it since it's TOM. Still aggravating, though.

Last week: 228.2

This week: 229.2

Gain of 1 pound.

Last week: 182.8

This week: 184.4

Difference: +1.6

UGH!!! I'm SO sick of being stuck here! Got a fill this AM. Here's hoping it works. Esp, since doc wants a 6lb loss in the next 4 weeks!

I'm walking daily, pretty much. There's only a day or 2 a week that I miss. And it's a hard walk too! I'm eating right but it's obviously too much. Very frustrated!

Have a great and SAFE Memorial Day weekend!

Hey all,

I haven't lost in a few weeks and life has been crazy so I haven't even posted but I had a loss this week and big 3 lbs. FINALLY!

I have actually started "running" everyday. I am a Biggest Loser fan and they did a marathon so I have started training for a marathon which I will run in December. The plan has easy and hard days but no days off. I think it really made a difference this past week and I am looking forward to seeing many more of those!

I, in my hurry to get out the door Friday AM to see my primary care physician, forgot to do the "in-the-buff" weigh in I usually do, so...when I got to the Doc's office I weighed there, fully clothed (sans shoes). I was up a pound from last week, but attribute that to the shorts and t-shirt I was wearing, so I'm calling it even - no loss, no gain.

On the BIG plus side I am now medication free from the blood pressure medicine I've been on for the last 6 years! Ta Dah!

I am late also posting but I did weight myself on Friday...down one pound. I do have a lot of restriction from my last fill, it takes a week to show up it seems. So eating even less. I hope to get a few more pounds off....soon. Been slow going the last few months.

As long as I am not gaining I am happy.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
