That scarf looks like it was posing for the Camera too. Thanks for the pics of the Dam, we would like to go one day. All the photo's are great of everyone. And I love the new Aviators.

Sigh....I loved looking at the party pics and so wish I could have gone. Guess I'll just have to get rebanded and somehow make it there next year.

You all are absolutely beautiful!

Glad you had fun even if I wasn't there.

Yep, LMAO.... It is an EVIL scarf. I swear the thing has a mind of its own!! But to its defense it was HELLA windy there! See that evil hair?

Oh, I thought you just had a "punk" do. (hee-hee)

That might be kinda cute now, wouldn't it? Maybe you should gel your hair straight up like that for Halloween--go as a "Hoover Dam Tourist."

BTW... totally off topic, but I HAVE to mention that my grandfather was a construction foreman on the Hoover Dam. My mother lived in the workers camp when she was a little girl and her family was considered hotshots because they had a CEMENT FLOOR for their tent. (My grandmother refused to live with tarp over dirt.) I never met him becaue grandfather ended up dying of TB caught during that time (the dust & smoking lifestyle made TB rampant among the constructions guys.)

Coyote girl, thank you for the cute bracelet! Ladies, this chick has been keeping a secret - she is very creative! What a cute card she made me, plus the Bracelet. That was the sweetest unexpected gift... thanks T!

Delarla,

Just reviewed (and thoroughly enjoyed) this thread. I had no idea you all were into Harley's. As fate would have it, I do a lot of work for Motor Trike.

http://www.motortrike.com

And besides designing and hosting their website, I own a 2004 Harley Ultra Classic that I had them convert. I'll post a picture of it tomorrow if I can find a good one post-band.

When I was at my heaviest, I started having trouble riding and now with the Trike, I've had a new lease on my biker life.

I knew there was something (in addition to everything else) that I liked about you.

Hopefully parties like that one will become more commonplace, I know I would have loved to have been there (women in underwear or not).

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
