alatina 1 Posted September 10, 2005 maybe if interested you could volunteer at your local Soup kitchen(usually a catholic church is a bit better before jumping in head first-lol)its just good to do something for someone-it makes it seem if all is not hopeless and you can make a difference.Its 2 am and Im bushed cause I have to troll the stores really late to get good meat deals-lol-just got back from krogers where I got balogna for .49 a pack-lol but I did get a great deal on huge cans of tuna which Ill make tomorrow-got 7 cans for about $2 a can-I HATE tuna to me it is the nastiest smelling/tasting stuff.I decided to double do lunches this week for them since Ill be gone for next 2 weekends I believe. alatina 1 Posted September 11, 2005 well the truck has arrived and dropped off the supplies-he first went to my brothers and gave each person their bag I made-he says they were ecstatic. Each bag had an air mattress,pillow,sheet,pillow case,shampoo,soap,toothbrush,toothpaste,deodorant,4 poptop lunches,bag of chips, 3 underwear,3 socks,2 shirts and 2 shorts,6 bottled waters,bag of Cookies,notebook,pen,10 stamped envelopes and a $5 phone card.
