Sorry to hear about your early problems, so glad you are feeling better. Time does heal most things doesn't it? I live in NJ and if you feel like writing from time to time, I would welcome the support. Have you lost any wt/ yet? I go to the DR's tomorrow.

I still have swelling at the larger incision - actually felt like a rock last week. I called my Dr office and the nurse said it sounded normal (from how I explained it to her).

I too was not having "bm's" - and they said that I needed to drink at least 64 oz of water/fluids daily - and that I should add some benefiber to my mushies. That has helped.

I can drink the 64+ ounces of fluids with no problem - I have always been a HUGE Water drinker. So no problem there for me.

My DR said that I don't have any saline in the band and won't till 6 weeks out. Can you fit in the 64 oz of liquid with the rstriction of waiting 30 min before drinking and 1 hr after having the Protein Drinks (they have become almost inpossible to drink now) I am having trouble drinking enough and consequently (well you get the idea)

Please let me know how you are doing and congrats on the surgery.
