New here and Banded May 4th

Hi all!

I just wanted to introduce myself. I was banded on May 4th and have been doing great since. I struggle a little with the liquid but my surgical follow up visit is this coming Thursday and I'm hoping to be stepped up a notch to Creamer Soups. It's really not so bad with the clear, just wanting a little variety.

This looks like a great forum, very active, etc!! I've been around to others and a part of other groups but the information here seems more tailored to the band and more organized too!

Hey Demi, welcome to lapbandtalk. The liquids ARE certainly very trying...it gets better as you're able to progress to more substantial foods. Hang in there!! Good luck!

I was banded on 5-5-09. Tomorrow 5-12 will be my second week of Proteins. They were o.k. last week. This week i can barely drink them. I HATE Protein DRINKS! You're lucky you can have broth on your post-op, because I can not. I can only have Protein and Water. This is a great forum and you will read a lot of great information here.
