MD, VA, or DC Doctor Recommendation

Hi, I'm looking for a recommendation of a Bariatric -Lap Band doctor in MD, VA or DC. Getting information from Insurance is difficult, I have CareFirst Blue Choice (FED) and the list of Gastro physicians within the network is huge and I don't know how to make a selection. Do all Gastro physicians do Bariatric Surgery?

I've spoken to several people that have had the procedure in my area but none of the doctors are within my network.

Any advise is really appreciated! I just want to get started.

Hello seen your post I am going through Stephen McKenna, MD great people great docter ....915 Toll House Ave Suite 303 Frederick Maryland 21701 301-698-5550.....Going through process now have BCBS of Maryland hoping for July lap band....:wink: Thanks Stacey Chaney
