I started meeting with a surgeon for the Lap Band back in October/2008 and due to insurance issues had to switch doctors in January... well at last I have a date. I'll be having my surgery on June 5... so in less than one month. YAY!!!!! I'm pretty much ready... I want this so bad. The only thing I'm a little sad about is that a week after my surgery my little girl (3) has a recital and I'm worried I won't be able to go. Do you guys think I'll be able to sit thru a 2 hour recital a week after the surgery?? :thumbup: I'm sure my mom can help her get on the stage and stuff so I won't be doing anything physical. I was walking at outside home for 20 minutes the day after my surgury. I went back to work a week later and had no problems. It should be OK with you.
