koinoi 0 Posted May 3, 2009 I got my first fill 4.28.09. Since then I have spit up 5 times and thrown up once. I am scared now i am going to have slippage! I am going to call my dr tomorrow as soon as their office opens. How does this happen?
Mimilou2004 13 Posted May 3, 2009 You have probably not changed your eating habits. Slow way down and cut ALL of your food into pieces the size of a pencil eraser. It makes a huge amount of difference. Mimi

sistasassy 6 Posted May 4, 2009 The pencil eraser thing is working for me too. I tend to take to big of bites and then swallow down the big stuff. Then I am pretty well in a mess. I have started the baby spoon thing and the bites the size of a pencil eraser. They have both been working. I had steamed broccoli and cheese today. That was the first thing other than mashed potatoes that I have been able to keep down since my fill last week. Success! Now I will work on adding a new item each meal and cutting everything up first. I am also only using small dishes and small portions. If the portion stays down after an hour and I am still hungry, then I allow myself another small portion. It works and the scales love it! I am still in heaven over the broccoli and cheese!!!! jillrenee15 0 Posted May 5, 2009 Cutting up your food is the key at first when you are still learning. Anything you can pick up and eat with your hands, you will definately revert back to old habits of huge bites and too big chunks. Cut everything up and eat it with utensils. I still do this a lot, and it's helped me with my sliming episodes. Also, people's stomach gets a little swollen and cranky when you get a fill. Take it easy for a couple of days after a fill. I also never get a fill during the middle of my cycle. I'm ALWAYS tighter during that week. It may be different for women who take b/c pills, because the hormones are more steady all month, I don't know. Just something to think about.
