jlray 0 Posted May 7, 2009 I had the same peace! I was shocked but everything went smoothly- even with insurance. So you have a 4 hr drive to the doc for adjustments, or was it just for the surgery? I have a 2 hr drive. When did you get banded? How much have you lost? 4 hours for adjustments, too. I like going back to the same facility-it feels cozy. I got banded March 6. I'm losing a little slow because - I'm hard headed I guess. :grouphug: I've lost 29 pounds. (need to update my signature). I've lost 9 since the fill eight days ago. xandriacharlee 0 Posted May 7, 2009 Yes I am sore at my upper chest. I keep massaging it and that makes it better. I'm not too sure how much weight i want to lose...I have a good height on me, and I know I'm not trying to be skinny, so I guess we'll see. And yes, my family and friends are great! Congrats on being banded. I was banded on 03-30th and I had joined the website a month before. What really helped me with the gas and the pain in my chest and shoulder was the gas-x strips. I had readed many people speaking about them. So I bought myself some before my surgery and it really helped. I only felt the pain the 1st night. I hope all goes well and keep us updated:thumbup:

FarmGirl7 0 Posted May 8, 2009 I was banded on Monday, and I can start mushies tomorrow. I'm doing pretty good now. Wednesday I had a HORRIBLE day, but my doc was able to give me a magic pain shot and I was good after that! I'm still pretty sore around my port area, but I'm moving around a lot better now!
