Giving up 0 Posted May 3, 2009 (edited) You are doing okay, don't worry you have the rest of life to get this figured out. The bumps in the road are just that so, stop and regroup and tell your doctor what you are going through. I had the same problem and my doctor desided to removed all of the Fluid from my band and quess what? All of the fliud had already leaked out! All of this time we thought there were 5.5 cc's in my band and I just wasn't getting any restriction. Now I have 5 cc's in my band and I've never felt restriction like this ever. My surgery was 1/12/09 and I have only lost 24 lbs. my dr said I did it on my own. So now I've expeirenced getting something stuck for the first time and it was horrible...I haven't vomited in over 14 yrs. but the best part is that it was only Fluid no chunks I think I would have fainted  LOL! HELP:confused: Diva, I would recommend you start reading the thread by Indiogirl and joining in on that discussion thread. Indio (Janet) and all the ladies there are very supportive and helpful and I'm sure you'll find some help with them as well as here in your own thread. I wish you luck. HELP:confused: Diva, I read your other post, and saw that your doctor isn't being supportive. I know that makes it doubly hard to go back to the office when things aren't going well, but that's when you need to go the most. Chances are, you're eating too much because you don't have proper restriction yet. Make an appointment for a checkup and a fill. I know the amount in a fill makes a difference, but it took me about ten to get to good restriction. I hope you call soon..like in the morning..and let us know how it goes.
