justpeachytexas 0 Posted April 28, 2009 Thank you to my thyroid medication I started taking it for the first time last week. When my neck and shoulders start hurting I thought it was stress or being in front of a computer for to long. After I took the med on Saturday my arms and hands felt like I did to much painting (I am not painting anything) or streching (not streching anything). I could not even hold anything in my hands:scared2: Did not take my thyroid med on Sunday and finally talked to the doctor on Monday. She said to wait until my arms stopped hurting and take a half of pill. Well they stopped on Monday early evening with the help of Alive and another pain med. Took the half of pill and my fingers swelled up like cooked johnsonville brats  Interesting to see what happens tonight when I take it. Because of having to take the Alieve and my bodys reaction to the thyroid med I had to push my surgery to May 12th

WOWOX7 0 Posted April 29, 2009 Hey,,,, I have been there, I know how you feel, I was supose to have surgery on aug 31 of 07, started my two week liquid diet, and one day before surgery they canceled me because of hyperparathyroidism. I had to have Parathyriod surgery in November and did not get my Lap band until Jan of 08... I FEEL YOUR PAIN. But... in the end it is soooo worth it. your few weeks will pass by slow. I am sorry, I know the anticipation. Lois
