CantB2noty 0 Posted April 26, 2009 DH just brought me a Wii Fit and I love it!!!!!!! I was wondering if anyone else uses it as a part of their work out routine, how long, etc? I know it can't be the only work out a person does, but right now, while I am waiting for a date, I am trying to get myself geared up and making minor changes in my life. At my size, any movement I make is a bonus and through the games and activities, I do work up a sweat and raise my heart rate.... I do recommend this as an addition... Claudine1975 0 Posted April 26, 2009 I have a Wii fit and love it. I enjoy "my fitness coach", it does not use the balance board and it is more like an interactive workout video but works up a killer sweat.
CantB2noty 0 Posted April 30, 2009 I want the my fitness coach to. I homeschool all three of my kids, so having the ability to steal 10-15 minutes here and there for a workout is much easier than finding an hour or two during the day...

ljv52 2 Posted May 3, 2009 Hi I just got Wii and Wii fit for my birthday (4/22). i love the step aerobics on it. I think anything we do to move is good for us. It's fun and addictive as well. Good luck on your band journey! Linda

I don't have the Wii fit - but we do own a Wii. Can I use "my fitness coach" with just the regular Wii since it doesn't use the board?

bill4dme 0 Posted May 4, 2009 Hello everyone- I just joined this site under the recommendation of the care coordinator @ my surgeon's office. As far as the Wii Fit, I have hinted that I want it for Mother's day. I have a friend that swears by it and it is something that he can do with his son. My surgery is May 18th and I am hoping to get a little time on the Fit before surgery. If I don't make it on it right away I know that my kids will enjoy it also. Take care.. 39andholding 0 Posted May 4, 2009 I'm not banded yet, I love Wii Fit. Unfortunately I do not do it often enough because I am annoyed by my 4 and 2.5 year old fighting over taking turns. LOL I mean, I want them to share and be active but I don't want to spend 3 hours trying to get exercise because I have to keep logging out and logging each of them in! So I recommend if you get it, hiding it from the kids Haha!

chicalynn 0 Posted May 7, 2009 I just bought my Wii and WiiFit on Monday and I can totally feel a difference. I know it is not a hard workout or anything but honestly it gets me up and moving. The Wii boxing sports game actually got me worked up and a little bit of a sweat. Plus I'll become such a Wii pro that I will impress my niece and nephews. I recommend it to anyone starting a fitness program.

I recommend it to anyone starting a fitness program. Try doing the bowling, a few games... and use both arms. Try to use real form like you are throwing a real bowling ball... Wii Bowling made me scream in pain for two days afterwards because of all the muscles it worked out.
