There's a thread somewhere on here asking what are the top three things you're going to do when you reach goal. Getting a pair of expensive jeans is VERY popular. My question is which brand of jeans are you planning on buying? :smile2: I always have trouble finding jeans I like so, I'd like to get some ideas for my "Dream Jeans".

Lol, I hate to say it but I've stuck with budget jeans that I know fit me. No matter how expensive a pair of jeans is, if they dont fit well, they wont look good.

I'm pear shaped and at 5ft 10 and an Aussie size 12 (us 8-10), I guess even though thin, I'm still quite large. I have a few brands of jeans that fit me really well and miracles of miracles have enough leg length to allow heels, so i dont stray from what I know fits well. And to be honest, I just am not that interested in spending over $100 for a pair of jeans when I believe I can get the same thing for $60 or under.

But I am intrigued, some of the ones Oprah has plugged for example, I'd certainly like to try.......

One of the things on my list of to do's was to get an outrageously expensive pair of jeans when i felt small enough to pull it off. My goal is to get a pair of True Religion brand or 7 for all mankind or Rock and Republic. I look at them whenever i go in the upscale hoity toity stores and the brands i see most frequent expensive brands i run across are

Chip and Pepper

True Religion

Rock and Republic

Frankie B

7 for all mankind

Paper Denim

They go in price from the high 100's to 300's.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
