Kate1973 0 Posted April 22, 2009 In fear I might strangle my husband for eating ice cream in front of me EACH night, I came up with this and I wanted to share. I take 1/3 cup of Non Fat Dry Milk (8g of Protein) 2 to 3 ounces of Boost chocolate High Protein Mix it together and freeze in little plastic Ziploc bowls The dry milk adds more protein and makes it creamy, and the best part is, I feel like I am eating ice cream too!! Yum-O!! Anyone else have any fun "treats" they would like to share?
LittleRed30 38 Posted April 22, 2009 I found Dibb's ice cream i take no more than 5 and eat and enjoy - it's chocoate and ice cream - no real value but i also have only done it twice since surgery.
MADE IT 2 MY GOAL..OH YEAH 0 Posted April 22, 2009 Try so no sugar added ice cream. It only has 3g of sugar and about 130 calories. I only eat about half a cup once a week and it helps me out ALOT!
talkalot1981 5 Posted April 22, 2009 (edited) I haven't been banded yet but I have been trying to invent(lol) mushies. Well last night I made something my kids call strawberry Suprise. in Magic bullet 8-10 frozen strawberries 1 of the pudding cups fatfree vanilla 3 tablespoons of reduced fat cream cheese a little bit of 1% milk (I didn't measure it) blend until smooth. My husband decided it wasn't sweet enough so in his I just added a tablespoon of splenda. It is really good. I had to sneak the splenda in my husbands cause he doesn't like it. But of course he didn't know it was in there. LOL you could probably add some type of protien powder but I am not banded YET....... Lois Ruth 0 Posted April 23, 2009 Schwans makes a fat free, no sugar added (made with Splenda) ice cream. I scoop of that and some smashed fresh raspberries and I've got my favorite treat from Culvers - Raspberry Concrete Mixer! LOL I love it!
