Day Two Post Op - Help?

Hi all -

Things went well for me... I think. I came home and I am seeing some swelling in my abdomen, mostly to the right of my belly button, nowhere close to any incision.. I am assuming this is just gas and bloating and should go down.

The thing that concerns me a bit is that I am having some sweating and chills. I woke up this morning, having obviously been sweating in bed, with the chills (teeth chattering). No temp right now.. but I am still a bit worried.

I have been taking the Oxycodiene (sp) pretty regularly since I got home yesterday at 12 noon.

What are your thoughts on the swelling and particularly the chills/sweating?

I didn't experience those symptoms, so I would call your doctor's office and see what s/he says.

Like it was said before you should definitely call the doctor. Maybe it is just your body responding to what you just went through. I know after my surgery I was freezing all the time, I sat there with like 4 fleece blankets on at all times. I hope you get some answers.
