Godschild 0 Posted April 21, 2009 I am so hungry. Clear liquid diets suck. I am doing all kinds of things to keep preoccupied. I read the posts to stay focused on my diet. Thank the Lord only one more day until surgery. then Clear Liquids again.
MissBS 3 Posted April 21, 2009 PLEASE STEP AWAY FROM THE DOG!!! Just kidding. Boy do I remember how hard it was. I counted the days down until my surgery.... couldn't wait to be off of that pre-op diet. Then I realized that after my surgery, I was going to be on the same diet but with a different name "The Post-Op Diet". YIKES!!! You are almost there and it looks like you have done GREAT so far. Before you know it, you'll have your band and you'll be eating "real" food (easy for me to say... right?) Really... keep up the good work and good luck on your upcoming surgery!! sassysara 0 Posted April 21, 2009 you can ONLY have Clear Liquids PRE??? My Dr. said just a liquid diet.. so Protein drinks are acceptable. For hunger, try Special K Water drinks... and South Beach too. They have Protein.< /p> I just recently went to the health store and got some Isopure CLEAR drinks. They have 40g of protein!! That will help with your hunger pains! Good luck!!!! I will be in your shoes in about 2 weeks!
