fill/defill dance

Recommended Posts

I've been doing the fill/defill/fill/defill dance and I'm going crazy! I was 7.5 (1.5cc added) and I couldn't get Water down...defilled 1cc 2 days later to (6.5). Was at that for 3 weeks....it seemed to have disappeared, so i went for another smaller fill this time (.50cc for total of 7cc). Instead of getting comfortable, it just got tighter and tigher over the next week. Managed Protein Shakes and a little water. Defill (.25cc to total 6.75cc). So far I'm very tight in the morning (coffee doesn't make it) water is ok....but that's it. I had some Soup for lunch and that went well. If I can eat a small portion of Protein for dinner I'll assume then this is my sweet spot. I have lost 12 lbs in the last couple of weeks with all these fills and defills. I feel like a mental case or something. But I can't help if it gets so tight, I can't drink water. I want some restriction obviously (why we have the band) but not to the extend that I have trouble with water. Do you think I'm at a sweet spot now?????? Honestly I'm exhausted!! 6.5 I didn't feel a thing....6.75 it's still tight but I can eat and drink a little.

The band is sure fickle sometimes. I have been going through the same thing (although pregnancy has something to do with it as well). 8.3 cc's was my sweet spot forever, then I cycled up and down until my last unfill was done because 4 cc's was much too much for me.

It is a crazy thing but I am happy you hung in there and I hope you are at your sweet spot now for a good long while :0)

Definitely being preggers has alot to do with it. I know many who have totally defilled until after pregnancy. That sounds dangerous to me!! Good Luck and thanks for the message. I think with men stress and pms stress....it's what's making getting solid foods down difficult.
