Hello everyone! What an incredible community - I am going to love this site! I was banded last Wednesday, April 8. So far, so good! I have been really hungry, but my pain has been minimal, so I shouldn't complain. Any advice for a newly banded woman? I will take all the help I can get.

Congratulations on your surgery.

No advice here as I haven't had surgery yet (scheduled for the 23rd). My partner was banded the day after you and unfortunately, she has not been having such a good time afterward - lots of gas pain, serious bloating, severe nausea.

Pharma Girl - thanks so much for adding me to the list! I am so sorry to hear your partner is in so much pain! That is a horrible way to start this whole journey (and it is hard enough as it is, without throwing pain into the mix.) Hope things get better. I will check out the April forum.
