Has anyone been able to have sugar free Jello on there pre-op diet. i am on a liquid shake and bar diet using MediTrim.

I did not have to do a pre-op diet, but on the post-op liquid phase I was allowed sugar free Jello and Sugar Free pudding.< /p>

I started my pre op diet April 3rd and I'm allowed to have Jello, as long as it's not red

Whew, I did, good thing cause i lived on that stuff, it was unlimited to me. But.. now im Sick of it! hahaha.. Good luck!

They are all different. You are safest to ask your surgeon what YOU are allowed.

yes I'am on the liquid diet and they allow me to eat sugar free Jello, my surgery is on April 13th! 4 days away! ahhh!

Hi, I'm a nurse and can answer you, many procedures that are done say no red Jello because it can appear to look like blood to the physician and can be misleading. I hope this helps and good luck on your weight loss.

At the hospital, the protocal is if you can see through it it is considered a liquid. You can as your Dr.
