ibelieve 0 Posted April 8, 2009 Question: should I count on going boobie commando for the ride home and for however long after, or will I be able to wear my bra home from the hospital and forever and ever after???
IWannaBeSkinny 0 Posted April 9, 2009 I wore my sweats to and from the hospital and a thirt. I went bra commando for the first full week. My top incision was right where my bra sat so I didnt want to bother it. Even the week I went back to work, I was slightly irritated in that spot when wearing my bra. Aceituna 0 Posted April 9, 2009 Question: should I count on going boobie commando for the ride home and for however long after, or will I be able to wear my bra home from the hospital and forever and ever after??? I didn't have a problem wearing a bra, I just had to ask my husband to hook it for me!
lindasqd51 0 Posted April 9, 2009 Just banded on the 7th. Over the head motion no problem. I wore an oversized fleece shirt and elastic waist jeans. I didn't do the bra and underwear though. The bra would irriated the surgery area and panties would make it hard to pull up the pant. As soon as I was home changed into my pjs. Today wearing all regular clothes and did 1/2 mile walk and about to do another. Linda
TxMomof4 0 Posted April 9, 2009 Hello everyone, I hope everyone is doing well! I wore a "track suit" with a t-shirt and flip flops. I did wear panties, dont remember how they got back on though ...and a hook in front sports bra from wallyworld. It was cheap and comfy. I havent tried jeans yet, kinda scared to. I am still pretty puffy from the gas!!! I hope it goes away soon! Good luck with your surgery! D:cool2:
Teacher07 3 Posted April 9, 2009 I wore Yoga pants and a large oversized sweatshirt, granted it was February in North Dakota:) I had a hard time putting my hands above my head at first though, so I would opt for a comfy button shirt if you have!
erinshel 0 Posted April 9, 2009 I wore a pair of stretchy yoga pants and a comfy top. Oh and flip flops! I couldnt imagine trying to put on regular shoes after the surgery.. flip flops made it so easy
hrtgoeson 19 Posted April 10, 2009 Thanks for all the great ideas (and good lucks!). I'm gonna have to go thru my closet to see what I've got. The slip on shoes are no problem but no button down shirts...(*shiver, i hate them). And, I am not going to ask my dad to help me dress (*double shiver). lol
