Davinci's Gourmet Syrups - Sugar Free

Recommended Posts

I thought this might help you make tastier Protein drinks (or really anything), the sugar free syrups are made with Splenda.

When I was following Atkins I used to buy this stuff. Its WONDERFUL!!!! you can add it to just about anything you can think of. I used to add the hazelnut or vanilla (sugar free) to my coffee. You can make great Icee's as well

They do sell the vanilla sf at Walmart but check out the website for different flavors, recipes and enjoy... :)

I've ordered 7 bottles of different flavors...then we went to World market and bought those little stainless steel spouts with lids, and put them on the bottles, so when you pour them they won't drip. We used to have liquor bottles lined up like this, but times change and so do we! No drinking for us, but SF syrups are pretty exciting! Cindy

If you have a Marshall's or TJ Maxx near you they also have them for $4.99 a bottle. I have several of the seasonal flavors that I can only get there. My fave is Chai Tea it is a great way to perk up a vanilla Protein Shake. ~Mandy

Help me here -- I've got a couple different flavors, including vanilla and caramel. What do I add them to? Could I add the caramel one to my chocolate Carnation Instant Breakfast and milk morning drink? Would that be weird? I am not a risk taker with food, so please give me some ideas of how to use these!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
