mlafentres 0 Posted April 1, 2009 Do you hear a clicking noise when you get a fill? My first fill I heard a clicking noise that sounded much like a computer mouse when you click. My second fill I heard nothing. Do you hear anything when you get a fill?
ParrotheadCathy 0 Posted April 1, 2009 Don't hear a thing but I can feel the saline being drawn out of the band and then put back in. You may have heard an incidental noise and couldn't distinguish it in that little bit of time when you heard it. Culd have been stethoscope touched a button, a noise from the hypodermie, who knows? But I don't think I'd worry about it overmuch since you didn't hear it the scond time.
MyDay2Shine 1 Posted April 1, 2009 I heard/felt the click at my fill. It is the sound of the needle hitting the back (or bottom) of your port. I didn't know what it was at first, but my Dr has a demo band in the room that I always play with. After my fill I picked up the demo and gave it a "fill" and when I put the needle in it made the same clicking sound. I hope that makes sense!
Teacher07 3 Posted April 9, 2009 I hear the same clicking sound and it is almost as if I can feel it too! I guess if many people experience this I would not be to worried!
mlafentres 0 Posted April 9, 2009 Thanks for your replies. The reason I ask is because on my second fill, my doctor said he couldn't pull any Fluid out, and now he thinks there is a cink in the line. But on the first fill I heard clicking, on the second fill I didn't. I wonder if he couldn't hit the right spot.
