Hi everyone! I'm new to the website, but I was banded last year. What prompted me to join the site is that I've just had my second fill, and I'm having a little difficulty now. Actually, a lot of difficulty. Eating has now become painful. Hopefully, it's just swelling, and it will go down soon.

Hi quiteajourney and welcome to the site! You might find more information at this forum: POST-Operation Lap-band Surgery Questions & Answers . I am still waiting for surgery, but I've been all over the site and found a ton of great information. You might try posting in the post op section to see if you get some helpful hints about your situation. Good luck and I hope it gets better soon!

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
