Hello,

I am not yet banded, but hope to be VERY soon. I am trying to get a referral from my new PCP. I have gained weight over the past few years & cannot take it off no way no how...I have very high triglyerides, lately I get winded easily, always have back pain, have constant heartburn & on & on..all the uncomfortables (& unhealthies) of being overweight.

I do have a hiatal hernia and am worried this could get in the way of me being approved or some doctors feel the old fashioned diet & exercise is the answer, but I have tried it all with no lasting success.

I hope to meet lots of people and hear experiences that you have been thru and be able to come hear with questions and concerns.
