I am new on this site and wanted to say hello. I got banded 4 weeks ago and am down 25 pounds and couldn't be happier.

Hi,

I was banded on 03/25/09, and I feel like I need to hear uplifting stories at this point, right now I am really nervous about everything, it has rained here for 3 days so depressing. And as most people know, food has been my friend for many years. Also on top of everything I quit smoking. It takes everything I got to stay sane.

Hang on, Liberty, it WILL get better, I promise. I can't promise it will get better as fast as you want, LOL, but it will come, I am proof of that. And the fact that you stopped smoking is HUGE!!!! I am so very proud of you.

Put on a raincoat and go for a walk or go to the mall and look at all the pretty spring colors, that will lift your spirits for a while.
