31andnew 0 Posted March 26, 2009 My BMI is 36. Wondering if I should expect such large success in as short of period of time as those with higher BMI's. Will an increase in my exercise routine kick-start my weight loss? Thanks.
MacMadame 81 Posted March 27, 2009 Statistically speaking, lower BMI patients do better than higher BMI patients. They (well, we, as I was one too) tend to get to goal more often and quicker. I'm 6 months out from my sleeve surgery and I'll be at goal in 2 more pounds. I'm already 11 pounds lower than my original goal.
Jaffa 5 Posted March 27, 2009 Well, yes the lower BMI do great. But also, yes, you MUST work out to have consistent weight loss.
