bearbandit 0 Posted March 26, 2009 Make sure you get all your fluids. Get up and walk a least once an hour, that will help with the gas. I actually set my alarm in the middle of the night to get up and walk. Which made the mornings a little better. If you get nausous make sure you take your medication to avoid vomiting. (hopefully your doc gave you a script for that, mine was a patch). Good luck and in a few weeks you will feel much better.
seahawks 0 Posted March 26, 2009 Hi Imagine! Walking is the one thing that helped me the most. Even after a week or so, a steady walk would relieve the discomfort. I also slept with a pillow hugged to my stomach. I don't know why it helped, but it worked like a charm. It didn't matter if I was on my back or on my side. Good luck with your journey
