shaylarossell 0 Posted March 26, 2009 "Barix Clinics offers an Advanced Payment Option" Could anyone explain this to me? I have been looking around online and I have not found anything. I am going to be a self-pay. I have no insurance and I am trying to look around for the best option as far as financing. Please let me know if you have any info on this - or if you have gone to the Barix Clinics.. Thank you in advance:smile2:
megster27 1 Posted March 26, 2009 Well, due to the recession hosptials are having a hard time getting people to pay when they get an invoice. However, right now my hospital offered me a %20 discount if I paid in advance and I saved over $300 on a $2,000 deductable!
ParrotheadCathy 0 Posted March 26, 2009 I paid $5,000 in cash and financed $10,000 through Care Credit. Capital One also has surgical financing. With Care Credit, you can spread the payments over as much as 7 years (which I suggest because it is the lowest monthly payment and you can always pay more without being committed monthly to a larger payment). When I applied for Care Credit, it asked me the price of my procedure and I put the whole amount even though I planned to pay the $5,000 up front. Check with your surgeon's office and see what financing they work with. They can help you with that too!
