Jennyt71 0 Posted March 25, 2009 Has anyone here tried the Firm Wave? I'm thinking of buying it - but for $100, wanted to see if there were any opinions on the boards here. I havent lost anything in a week and am getting very discouraged. I figure maybe a new "gizmo" that I can alternate with the Wii Fit would maybe get the scale moving again. Any comments? Thanks! tapshoes 2 Posted March 25, 2009 The Y at which I am member, has this machine. I use it on a rotational basis - cycling one day, elliptical another, treadmill, etc. It is a good workout testing other muscles.
Jennyt71 0 Posted March 26, 2009 Ok. Well I ordered it today. Should have it in 7-10 days. I'll post after I try it out and letcha know if it was worth it. :cursing:. Thanks!
kcmagu 3 Posted March 29, 2009 I actually bought it a couple weeks ago and have really enjoyed it. I have not used the dvd with it - I just do my own thing while watching tv and have a lot of fun this last week - made a fun fast paced/dance playlist for the ipod and do basically dance while using it in the upside down manner (rocking) - makes my legs BURN!!! Will eventually have to try the dvd though - to learn more things to do with it if nothing else.
Jennyt71 0 Posted March 31, 2009 Wow. Got mine today and it really kicked my butt. I couldn't even keep up with the DVD. It was "only" 30 minutes. I'm dead!! Hopefully if I use it a few times a week, I'll at least get to where I can keep up. Definitely works the legs and stomach - but also the arms!
msmary115 0 Posted March 31, 2009 This might seem like a silly question but can you use it on carpeted floor or does it have to be a hard surface like wood or tile? Just wondering. Thanks!
travelgrl 0 Posted April 2, 2009 I use it on a carpeted floor. No problems with it.
