Fairysaddle 0 Posted March 19, 2009 My white ones that came with the ipod just self-destructed. I would like to replace them with something that stays in place a little better. What do you use? What have you tried that didn't work? I got some over the ear ones from Walmart once. They didn't stay in place well at all. I still like the concept and I'm wondering if I just bought a crappy brand, or if the whole design isn't very good for exercising? Then there's the ones with the little silicon ring that you actually put in your ear canal. How well do those stay in place? Thanks!
BLAKQUEEN 33 Posted March 21, 2009 Hi Real good ones are the Bose, they are expensive but they are worth it. I payed about $100 for them. Look on the Bose web site and investiage. These earphones come with 3 different sizes of inner ear comfort buds so they do stay in place. Also you have the technology of Bose. I also found Sony ear buds to have a great sound. Hope this was helpful Kim
Fairysaddle 0 Posted March 21, 2009 Thanks, Kim! I'm not as worried about the sound quality as I am about the comfort and fit. (Although I don't want BAD sound quality, either.) The iPod ones were OK, but they did tend to fall out every now and then. You like the comfort of the type that fit into your ear, then?
BLAKQUEEN 33 Posted March 22, 2009 Hi Sorry I was busy!! Yes I like the way the Bose fit as well as sound. I also like the way the Sony's felt. Do some research I did not like the sound of the Ipod buds. Peace Kim:redface:
ebonie1015 0 Posted March 23, 2009 I really like the SkullCandy brand that I have. I am very picky about earbuds and couldn't even use the ones that came with my Ipod. I found the SkullCandy ones at Best Buy but they also sell them at Target and Walmart. I paid $20 for them but they work so well I would have paid more. They come in a variety of colors and they give you three sets of buds for a right fit. I listen to my Ipod a lot at night and am always falling asleep with them on. I can't even feel them in my ears they are so comfortable. Good luck with your search. I know how frustrating it is to find a good pair of buds.
