SHSUSioux 0 Posted April 22, 2009 I don't know why these things happen to me but I got a call yesterday that the school district I am trying to get a job at will be holding interviews Saturday. I was picked for the first round of interviews but it will only be one day post op. I explained I am having surgery and she said that they could reschedule but it would be with round two interviews IF they need them. I told her I will suck it up and be there in round one because I don't want to blow my chances. I hope I will be okay...any advice?

Would you have anyone that could drive you (i wouldn't let the interviewer know that though)?
SHSUSioux 0 Posted April 22, 2009 I have a bad back so I know I can function okay on pain meds. I know if I am too sore to go then it is what it is BUT I at least want to give myself a shot and not count myself out before I know. My husband and my mom both said they will drive me so I am covered there. I just hate that it had to come NOW. I am not rescheduling this surgery for ANYTHING! I'm all systems go. hopeful41411 0 Posted April 22, 2009 What about wearing your binder under your clothes? It should help the pain. GL to you!
Jenfs5 19 Posted April 22, 2009 Hey Andrea, what binder are you referring to? Did you guys get some kind of binder after surgery? Is this something I should look into? I know I saw something in my friends pregnancy magazine about something called a belly bandit and wondered if that would be good for us to but I did not ask my doc or anything about it. PharmaGirl 0 Posted April 24, 2009 Hi everyone, Checking in after surgery. Tummy's a bit sore (feels as though a horse has kicked me in the guts). Was nauseous when I woke up from surgery but that has passed. Have a few gas pains but the pain relievers help keep them under control. As I was leaving the hospital at 11am, I ran into loulou09 who is being being banded later this afternoon - all the best loulou - I'm thinking of you. Will write more when I feel up to it. vcatalina1 0 Posted April 24, 2009 Good luck to everyone tomorrow! I went in for my 2 week post op appt. I learned that I have a 10cc band which he normally fills with 3cc during surgery. I got to feel where my port is, but still haven't seen the doctor. My mushies are progressing, so I'm looking forward to some other options. My first fill will be May 19th. I was also excited to learn that the office has later appts on Tuesday nights, so I won't have to take any more time off of work Tomorrow will be a month since I took my pictures, so I took them today. I still have to take my measurements. Here they are. My first pictures are on page 5. You look fabulous girl, I can't wait.
