notabandaid 0 Posted March 17, 2009 I had my last Dr visit yesterday.. I have done the 6 mo dieting(lol) and everything else they have required. My stuff is being submitted to Medicare and Medicaid as we speak. Should be a 3-8 week wait according to the ins lady at the Dr office. But on a positive note... I have lost a total of 16 lbs .. 9 which was in the past two weeks with the 1st level preop diet they want you to do. now I am playing the waiting game and hoping it won't take to long to hear. My Dr should have submitted to insurance a day or two ago...I just want them to approve it so i can move forward....First they said I had to do 6 months of dieting and then said 'whoops, no you don't' so I guess I should count my blessings, eh?
