My surgery was 4 week ago. Federal Insurance with blue cross / blue shield PPO.

I was approved with Blue Shield of California, but my BMI was 40.1 or 40.2 something.

If you have comorbidty (sp) issues then you should be okay with your BMI. However, check with your insurance company to determine what they require.
