spud.mama 7 Posted June 30, 2009 nccatvet~~I talked to my nurse today and she said that yes I most likely pulled a muscle and if it doesn't get better in a few days then to call her again. Mine doesn't hurt in the morning anymore, just starts in the afternoon and if I'm doing alot of bending or reaching. Once it started hurting at work today I panicked and that's when I called. And I've babied it since. Hopefully we will feel better soon. It's an all new journey!

EmsMommy 0 Posted July 2, 2009 Hi everyone! New to the site, but trying to figure things out. Do you have room for one more? I was just banded on Monday (6/29) and doing okay so far. Some aching and pains when I move certain ways, but I think I'm starting to heal up and going easy on liquids right now. Just wanted to say hello!!

Gemini0123 0 Posted July 3, 2009 My stomach is totally growling today... loud! I think my pouch is full and underneath (the rest of my stomach) is growling! Is that normal? lol.... To me it is!! My stomach growled pretty much nonstop for the entire time I was on Clear Liquids, about a week and a half post-surgery! Once I was able to add Protein Shakes and yogurt to my diet, it settled down...

patricksmom 0 Posted July 6, 2009 HI! I started my preop 2 weeks before surgery and lost 7 pounds. Since surgery, I am down another ten (and starving I might add). I also have a total of 17 pounds since two weeks before June 12th surgery. Fill one week from today and can't wait!!!

ifyourstomachoffendsyou 1 Posted July 7, 2009 Is it possible for me to still be having gas pain that travels to my shoulders and neck? My surgery was June 18 so on Thursday I'll be 3 weeks out. I've been thinking I reherniated a disc in my neck or that the torn rotater cuff in my left shoulder is sending referred pain there, but maybe not. The pain comes late afternoon if I've been standing or walking around. I can sit leaning back quite comfortably.
