The big difference is that I'm now where you started -- hopefully I can duplicate your success from this point on! I just had my third fill and it's definitely helping. lapbandgirl4life 0 Posted March 18, 2009 Hi everyone. Congrats on everyone's success! This thread is so inspirational. I'm going to read it everytime I start to feel sorry for myself. I was banded 6 weeks ago, and as of today have lost a total of 48 pounds. I had my first fill yesterday, so I'm hoping now I won't be so hungry at times. Like most in this thread, I'm exercising on a regular basis. I workout at the fitness center 6 days a week, and even though I don't work out on sundays, I still manage to walk 2-3 miles outdoors. I just hit a milestone... I'm under 300. 297 to be exact. I'm well upon my way!

Nchaka 0 Posted April 12, 2009 Congrats! I'm still looking at dr's for lap band. I have 2 appts/seminars in the next 10 days. If they recommend a bypass I'll direct them to your post! Large weightloss can be done with the band- you just have work at it. Something I've from this site is the band is a tool, it'll only work if you use it right.
