Anyone experience this?

Recommended Posts

I posted this somewhere, but I can't find it so here goes.

I live on the Gulf coast at sea level. I went to Red River, New Mexico over Mardi Gras holiday and after feeling great restriction here at home had almost NONE there. The altitude was 10,300 ft. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this? Seems it had to be that, because, when I returned home my restriction was back. We actually went to California after leaving N.M. and the restriction started returning there, but not until I got home did it return full force.

I had something happen on the same level. I am from Georgia and had very good restriction prior to going on my trip to up state NY in January. My eating was in control prior to the trip but what I found was that I stayed full and barely ate anything the whole time I was there and no I was not trying to be cute:wink2:. It wasn't until about 3/4 days in that I realized I wasnt' eating. The only explanation I have is the difference in the temp. When I left GA is was probably 50+degrees and was only 11 degrees and even less when you factor the wind chill there. Not sure about the altitude there.

Hi jazie. I've always wondered about changes in altitude and the band. I will be watching the replies to your post. I also wanted to tell you that I LOVE Red River. We have gone up there in the summer for many years. It is so beautiful and such a fun little town. I used to ski there too. Your post brought back many RR memories. Take care!! Becky
