No, actually it is how to research a Mexican BAND surgeon. It is there so people do not have to depend on patient coordinators for information, the person can learn to verify info for themselves. And as I have written repeatedly, it will work for US surgeons as well. Funny how the bad doctors don't want their potential patients researching.

I know, that's an absolute horror... the concept of people being able to verify info instead of believing everything they are told by those selling a surgery.

I see this is your 4th post. It might be wise to "look around" and review the forum before posting something that, while maybe not intended to, is insulting.

Definitely annoying, there was actually a woman in that chat room and I don't know whether she was one of those people but it sure seemed like it, she wasn't exactly bagging the surgery but the thing she said made her story sound completely untrue. She supposed had surgery and was 11 days out. Had 1.5cc in her band and could eat whatever she wanted. Now as we all know that isn't possible at all, at 11 days out your either still on fluids or at the pureed/mushie stage. But the thing is there where alot of people that where just banded in the chat room at the time that seemed like they believed her, it just annoyed me so much.

Unfortunately the sad reality is this has been around a long time and some even do it to pay their bills. It's hard to take the full advice of 1 person... I never trust 1 source on the internet... I reasearch over and over before I ever make a decision on something.
