I am waiting to be banded

I am waiting to be banded, and am very excited about it. Mentally, I am preparing myself for it by clearing out the cupboards in the kitchen, and filling the freezer with Soups and pureed food ready for the first couple of weeks.

I would be interested to hear from anyone who has had their band for more than 3 or 4 years - Does it still work for you?
