Wii are ready to work out!

OMG!!! I thought the blue button had to face the t.v. so it could communicate w/ the Wii. Guess I could have read the instructions....but where is the fun in that?

Ok, I AM the biggest spaz on the planet............

Thanks for your help!!! :)

Hugs,

LOL don't feel bad. I discovered it by total accident. I dropped the instruction booklet on the floor and when I picked it up it said make sure it's facing away from the tv and I was like OOPS! and spun it back around.

Well, it is good to know that I am not the only one who didn't figure that out right away!

I unlocked the boxing game today. Talk about a workout! I was sweating my tush off! Then that smart-a@# punching bag says "I bet you didn't even break a sweat, did ya?" WHAT? Meanie!! :w00t:

It is soooo nice to actually see progress. Everyday my BMI goes down a little bit. And my Wii age is only 5 years away from my actual age now! It has been so long since the scale moved DOWN, I feel like I am dreaming!!!!

I ABSOUTELY LOVE the Wii Fit!!

Hugs,

Hi Lyndi, this does'nt have to do do with the Wii,(although I think I will go out and buy one now!), I had surgery the same day as you and was wondering how much of the 30 lbs you lost after the surgery?and if you feel any restriction yet or your just using willpower?

I lost 9 lbs. before the surgery. and as far as restriction goes, I felt more restriction before I had my fill on the 5th of feb. I don't know why, but I think that I need another fill now. I mean I can't eat as much as I used to before I had the surgery, but I can eat little more than 1 cup of food too. I know alot of people i've talked to say that they can only eat 1/2 cup. I don't really know. How are you doin with it?

Okay, I went to Toys R Us and bought Dance, Dance Revolution for the Wii. My daughter was raving about it. It was okay, but I certainly don't get the buzz.

I love to dance, but this one is kinda boring. Unless you click on expert level. And when you're at expert level, you feel like a total SPAZ!! :)

On the upside, as exercise goes, it's more fun than say, jogging! :tt2:

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
