Someone with dry or irritated throat?...

Anyone with dry or irritated throat? .... I noticed that since I was banded, my throat feels dry or irritated, it will be normal?, Anyone has feel this....:cursing:

I had this and found out it was from reflux, stomach acid would get up into my throat and burn it, so to speak. I would call your docs office, they will probably be able to recommend an OTC or prescription medication to help with the soreness.

I also found myself clearing my throat a lot, that was another sign for me, as well.

I got into the habit of drinking a lot of warm beverages such as tea and that helps. The occasional sugar free cough drop also helps.

I had a sore throat the first couple of days after surgery due to the breathing tube they used. Haven't had trouble since.

they told me it was the tube during surgery down my throat and that i had a narrow throat to expect pain
